Disorderly Conduct Conviction Avoided

Posted On: June 19th, 2013

A gentleman in his forties was driving when he was involved in an altercation with another driver. Despite the other driver, hurling a bottle of soda at his car, this gentleman was ultimately charged with a disorderly conduct.

Given the circumstances, this gentleman was concerned about his potential for jail time, as well as having a criminal conviction on his record. He was referred to the Columbus Criminal Defense team for assistance with the case.

Attorneys with LHA represented our client in Delaware County Municipal Court. After multiple court dates, we were able to negotiate the payment of $250 to the court in the form of a bond forfeiture to resolve the case.

This resolution allowed our client to avoid a criminal conviction on his record, in addition to jail time and probation. The resolution was understandably a great relief to this gentleman.
