Failing To Stop Violation Dismissed

Posted On: July 9th, 2014

Our client, a taxi driver, was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign after being involved in an accident with substantial damage to both cars. Concerned about points and his traffic record, he retained our firm for representation.

Attorneys with LHA continued his arraignment in order to give the respective insurance companies time to resolve the damage issues. After, a plea of not guilty was entered on the failing to stop violation and the matter was set for trial. On the day of trial, we provided to the prosecutor proof that restitution was made. Ultimately, the prosecutor agreed to dismiss the failure to stop case. Our client avoided both points and a conviction.
