Criminal Damaging Charge Dismissed

Posted On: March 19th, 2014

After a vehicle had been damaged — and through an extremely unusual set of circumstances — a woman with no prior criminal record and nothing more than a traffic violation found herself charged with criminal damaging in Madison County Municipal Court.

Adamant that she had not committed any offense, the woman and her husband reached out to attorney Ben Luftman to discuss her options. After speaking with attorney Luftman, the Columbus Criminal Defense team was hired to fight for her in court.

Attorneys with LHA represented our client and after a number of court dates, the prosecutor dismissed the criminal damaging case. Our client was understandably relieved. The dismissal, along with the subsequent expungement or sealing of her record completely removed the case from her criminal background and public record.
