Hit and Run Charge Dismissed

Not long ago, a man came to the Columbus traffic lawyers at Luftman, Heck & Associates after getting into an altercation with another driver on I-270. The man was driving along when the driver in front of him thought he was tailgating. The driver pulled up alongside our client and started yelling. Eventually, he went into our client’s lane and struck his vehicle. Frightened, the man continued driving to an exit where the other driver did not follow him.

When our client called the police, he discovered that the other driver already had reached out to law enforcement, and provided a description of our client’s vehicle (including the license plate number). Upon our client’s call, he was redirected to a different line. By this time, the police had already shown up at his home and charged him with hit and run.
