Theft Charge To Be Expunged For Pickerington Teacher

Posted On: February 23rd, 2016

A Pickerington school teacher was recently charged with theft from a nearby Kohls. The item she allegedly took from the store was not in excess of $25. Clearly worried that a theft conviction could damage her professional career, the woman chose the legal representation of Luftman, Heck & Associates.

LHA attorneys took the woman’s theft case to the Pickerington Mayor’s Court. Using his expansive legal skills and knowledge, the prosecutor agreed to amend the charge to a minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct with a $150 fine. In one year’s time, the charge will be eligible for expungement from her record. The teacher’s career is safe from a theft conviction.
